While Moto Z mods just fits on back of the device without altering the actual phone built. Moto uses 16 point connection between mods and phone for fast response, data rate transfer is as high as 6 GBps. There is magnet to hold on the mods tight.
The Moto Z is built to impress with high grade aluminium and stainless steel for looks and strengh. However, if anyone does not like it. It gives them option to add case of real wood, leather, fabric or any other they like.
